Cuba Keen to Use Iran's Experience in Confronting Economic Sanctions http://english.farsnews.com/newstext.php?nn=9002210733

Cuban Minister of Domestic Trade Jacinto Pardo Angulo Cruz lauded Tehran's economic and industrial achievements despite international sanctions against Iran's economy, and stressed Havana's willingness to utilize Tehran's experiences.Speaking in a meeting with Tehran's Ambassador to Havana Ali Chegini, the Cuban minister stated that Havana is seeking to further promote and expand its mutual cooperation with Iran in different economic and trade fields.  He also said that Havana is eager to use Iran's experience in confronting international sanctions and in developing economic and industrial capacities and capabilities. 

Angulo also asked for Iran's cooperation in the construction of industrial cold storage and refrigerating chambers, and urged further imports of construction materials from Iran.The Iranian envoy, for his part, said that Iran is ready to expand ties with Cuba, and underlined that frequent visits to Tehran by different Cuban delegations herald remarkable growth in economic exchanges between Tehran and Havana.

In October, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a meeting with Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrila underscored Tehran's interest in developing all-out cooperation with Havana, specially in the field of economy.  The President said that Iran and Cuba should make use of the existing potentials to broaden mutual ties and economic cooperation. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's administration has striven hard to maximize relations with the African continent and the Latin America.
