Daraa's top cleric Mufti Rizq Abdulrahman Abazeid withdrew his resignation, and said that he resigned “under pressure and threats,” the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported on Tuesday.“My family was living in [fear] because of these threats…My son was once stopped by five young men who told him ‘either your dad quits and be with us or we kill you and him’,” Abazeid said.
