 In an attempt to help nations counter nuclear and other unconventional threats, Interpol has launched a nuclear terrorism prevention unit. The new team, named the Radiological and Nuclear Terrorism Prevention Unit, will help the international crime-fighting agency strengthen its anti-bio-terrorism activities to counter chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive threats. The unit will help police develop capacity globally to 'stop' the next bio-terrorist attack.
